Prior to the current album, the Black Bear Combo self-released somewhere between nine and twelve cds. Usually they were in small editions of 100 or 150, sometimes as few as 30. Some tunes made it onto multiple albums, in different arrangements and lineups. The cds are all gone, but here are some of the tracks from them. A raw band's raw beginnings: inspiration, energy, and open ears. There are many more tracks where these came from, and will be changed out occasionally.
